Cooper Racing Tandem for sale. Superb condition. Medium frame size to suit riders anywhere from 5ft to 6ft2" in height. Photos show seat heights used for myself (captain) and my ex wife (stoker). I am 5ft11 and my ex wife was 5ft2. Super strong high quality hand built frame constructed with Columbus Zona tubing with beautiful craftsmanship, hand built by Lee Cooper cycles of Coventry. Lee has retired since he built the bike but I have managed to contact him. Remarkably, Lee still keeps records of all the bikes he built, and the serial dates the year of production as 2012. The bike has a carbon Reynolds Ouzo Tandem Pro fork in mint condition and Cane Creek headset. This fork has a carbon steerer, weighing in at a feather light 490g - specifically designed for a tandem with rim brake road callipers, to be super stiff for predictable tracking and with excellent vibration damping. The Enve carbon wheels were are a special order product, built to the highest standards by Enve with their aero wheels and top of the tree DT Swiss carbon 180 hubs with ceramic bearings and laced with bladed Sapim spokes, 28 front and rear. These wheels have less than 1500km on them and retailed at over £1500, purchased expressly for this tandem, with a125kilo+ weight limit. Bomb proof. Brand new 28mm Continental Grand Prix tyres. Shimano Dura Ace 7900 10 speed shifters, brake callipers, derailleur and front mech, all in mint condition. This groupset is quite possibly the last Dura Ace generation designed for easy servicing and reliable shifting and braking. No screeching discs, just reliability and simple servicing and adjustment. Shimano Ultegra cranks - 600 generation but in excellent condition, with brand new Specialites T.A 53/34 chainrings. Brand new Ultegra 12-28 cassette - the ideal chain rings and cassette combination for fast and efficient riding in any terrain, flat or hilly, with close ratios for efficient and consistent rpm's. Brand new Shimano inner and outer brake cables. Brand new Shimano chains. FSA carbon front stem 38cm width aluminium drop bar with flat aero tops for rider comfort. Stoker FSA carbon 42cm width drop bar chosen to accommodate captain sized thighs, with brand new Cane Creek dummy levers. Carbon bottle cages x2. Selle Italia rear saddle - gel padded and super comfortable for stokers. Sorry, pedals not included. Everything on this bike oozes quality. Always kept indoors - cleaned meticulously, and serviced regardless of cost. A one of a kind absolute weapon.
