For Sale: Jack Taylor custom built touring tandem

We bought this unique custom made Jack Taylor touring tandem through the Tandem Club web site in 2006 when we were trying to obtain a child-back tandem. The dimensions are 18” (46cm) front and 16” (40cm) for the stoker.  It has a Stronglight 80 driveset 48/38/28 with Shimano Deore XT 8 speed gearset and 650C (26”) wheels with Continental tyres. The frame number is 8723 if that helps to identify the date of manufacture. We removed the additional (stoker) rear brake when trying to replace the bars (unsuccessfully) to suit our young daughter.  It has been in storage since 2008 and in good condition despite a few scratches when we bought it.  We also have a Helston car roof tandem carrier and a ‘conventional’ upright car roof tandem carrier for sale.
