| Lancashire & Cumbria | A Ride in South Lancashire. Start: Garstang High Street Car Park at 09:15 for 09:30. 37 miles, H. The ride starts and finishes at Garstang - meet at the High Street Car Park PR3 1FU- GBP3.80 parking charge. There are toilets which are 40p - you need to pay by card. | Thameswey | Don & Maggie. Start: Lechlade Garden Centre at 10:00. 32 miles, A. The 13th April ride is 32 miles: 22 before lunch at the Victoria Inn in Eastleach Cirencester GL7 3NQ and 10 after lunch. The route highlights include the picturesque Sherborne and Windrush valleys, and over a dozen classic Cotswold villages. Please note, however, that there is not a great deal of slack in the schedule, and the pre-lunch route is quite hilly. The ride starts and finishes at the Lechlade Garden Centre, where we will have morning coffee and afternoon tea. The gates are open at 0930h and the restaurant is open from 1000h. Sinc e the Garden Centre will be very busy later in the day, please use the overflow car park in the field to the right (Lechlade side) of the car park. The gate is next to the toilet block. To reach lunch for 1315h we need to depart from Lechlade at 1030h sharp. The restaurant closes at 1600h, so we should aim to arrive back around 1530h. The gates close again at 1630h. There will not be time for a 3-course lunch in the Victoria Inn, which is just as well since prices are on the high side. It is hoped that the pub can be persuaded to include sandwiches on the menu, which will be circulated well in advance, as per usual.
